A project is not finished when it looks finished. It is finished when the client has the documents, the warranties and a building that works.
We run the close-out sequence properly: testing and commissioning witnessed, snag lists issued and cleared, statutory approvals obtained, and as-built drawings, O&M manuals and warranties collected and handed over in an indexed set.
Final accounts are settled against the measured work and the retention release is scheduled. During the defect liability period we stay available to coordinate rectification with the contractor.
